Two of my great passions in life are traveling and photography. I believe that travel broadens one’s view of the world. Experiencing other cultures, meeting people from other countries, seeing the beauty and sometimes ugliness of the world has helped me understand that all of our lives are at once connected and individual.
In an effort to combine both photography and cooking I started my site, Love and Avocado. I have a slight obsession with cookbooks, food/cooking magazines, and, well, anything related to food. I discovered the world of grilling and barbecue. Thanks to a great friend, Marc, a lot of encouragement and step-by-step demonstrations every Sunday afternoon. I left the world of Top Ramen and frozen vegetables behind me and replaced them with delectable and scrumptious cuisines. Food satisfies more than just my appetite, it allows me to be creative, connect with people and have a good time.
